Trips to unplug and write home about.
Postmarked by Lo.
I’m Lo, a travel advisor based in Brooklyn, and insatiably curious about everywhere else. I plan trips around what you love most, whether that’s a few days in the mountains, a dinner you’ll still be savoring on the flight home, or a slow week with time to get a little lost. I handle the bookings and the rabbit holes, so all that’s left for you is the anticipation.
Now booking summer 2027. Yes, the best spots really do book up that far out.
A few postcards from places I know well.
All my own photos. Favorites, not limits. I plan far beyond this list.
Dhërmi, Albania
Milos, Greece
Apan, Mexico
Isle of Skye, Scotland
Colombo, Sri Lanka
North Cascades, Washington
Svaneti, Georgia
Dolomites, Italy
Why 4x6?
A standard postcard is 4 by 6 inches. I’ve collected them from 32 countries: little reminders of places I’ve been and moments I don’t want to forget.
Billy Collins once called the postcard “a poem on vacation.”
A postcard gives you one glimpse of a place. I’m more curious about what’s outside the frame: the restaurant with the handwritten menu, the trail behind the famous viewpoint, the smell of sage. You have to be there. That’s what I plan for.
Notes from friends
“Alta Via 1 was my dream trek, and it would have been impossible to coordinate without Lo. She mapped out the route, scheduled every stage, and handled all the bookings and back and forth with the rifugios, most of which still do things the old fashioned way. She thought of all the little details I never would have. I got to enjoy a once in a lifetime trip without any of the stress of making it happen.”
Luke, Alta Via 1, 2023
“Lo is a master of making the most of a trip. I asked her about skiing in the French Alps, and she turned it into the vacation of my dreams. From the slopes to Parisian eateries, every detail was beautifully planned, and when nature had other ideas, Lo was ready with contingencies so I didn’t miss a thing. Between her knowledge and her warm, infectious enthusiasm, I can’t recommend Lo enough.”
