Offsites & Retreats

You don’t just need someone to book the hotel.

You need someone who understands what you want the time together to accomplish.

  • 13 years in talent and learning roles, building programs for global teams

  • Tallinn and San Francisco offsites I planned and facilitated for global recruiting teams

  • Adult learning a background in instructional design, so sessions are built to stick

I plan offsites for small and medium sized teams. Hand me the whole thing or just the pieces you want help with, and I’ll quote based on the work involved. Already have a curriculum? I’ll tell you what to sharpen. Don’t have one? I can design the workshops and run them.

WHAT I CAN HELP WITH

The trip

  • Destination selection

  • Accommodations

  • Transportation

  • Meals

  • Activities

  • Itinerary and logistics

The time together

  • Understanding your team and what people should leave with

  • An agenda sequenced around people’s energy and attention

  • Workshops, or feedback on a curriculum you already have

  • Facilitation, if you want an outside voice in the room

  • Real time for the team to connect

  • A simple way to tell whether it worked

What’s this for? We talk about your team, what’s going on, and what you want to be different when everyone gets back.

Shape the days. I design an agenda and a trip that support each other: workshop time when people are fresh, a long dinner when they’ve earned it, and a hike or a day out when the group needs air.

Handle the details. Flights, rooms, transfers, dietary needs, rain plans. You shouldn’t be the one doing this.

Run it with you. I can host, facilitate sessions, or stay in the background and keep things moving.

Look back. Afterward, we check the time together against what you set out to do, so you know what to keep for next year.

HOW IT COMES TOGETHER

Start with the why, then the where.

“Last year’s offsite was fun, but nothing changed when we got back.”

If that sounds familiar, let’s talk.
